Surgery done and feeling great

Surgery was done 3/8 and discharged yesterday 3/10. A little discomfort but am doing fine. Started walking on my treadmill last night slowly for only about 10 minutes. hospital staff was so attentive and am so pleased with my stay. Although gained some weight due to the gas and liquids pumped in my body. Not worried, surgeon said that is normal. Recommend the Barix Clinic to everyone. They were fantastic and other paitients I spoke with also agree.

GREAT, I am happy its over I am sure it is a huge relief. I am also happy to see you up and about. I personally have been worried on my upcoming surgury and recovery time since I want to spend some quality time with my kids at Busch Gardens. Congrats and keep up the good work

Hi Patricia, See you have your surgery 3/15. good luck and hope you have a speedy recovery. Listen to the instructions and I'm sure you'll do fine. Each hour gets better. After the surgery I was in alot of pain until they hooked me up to the moraphine then all was good. Started walking around in 4 hours and felt great by that evening. However, a slight downfall the next morning which is common according to the surgeon. Gained 13 pounds but wasn't upset. 10 overnight!!! Next afternoon again, feeling much better. Fluids are a bit difficult to get down all 64 ounces. Finally today I accomplished the 64 plus I think I went over. Don't worry you will do fine. You have that trip to Busch Gardens to plan. You have made the right decision and let us know when you're back up on your feet. Lois
