SURGERY STOPPED BLOOD IN MY URINE

Boy what a let down. I was scheduled for surgery yesterday March 8th and on late on March 7th it was called off. I had to re take my urine culture three times days prior and I kept getting a show of blood in my urine. They don't know why and Monday the day before surgery I had urine taken by catherer(spelling), straight form the bladder and still blood in my urine. I have to get a CT scan and sonogram of my kidneys and bladder to rule out any life threatening problems so I can have my surgery re-scheduled. I'm not real upset because it was called off but worried about what blood in my urine may mean. Neeedless to say it took me months to mentally prepare myself for this surgery then to have it called off just hours before. I was so prepared with arrangement for kids and work etc. I am wondering now how I'm going to be able to get back on track. My doctor says I may have Kidney stones that I didn't know I had. I'm really down now......

Hope, you have such a beautiful and meaningful name and I would sugguest that you don't loose HOPE. Try not to worry, because it doesn't help what every may or may not be going on. Doris
