MY FIRST TIME!!!!

I am Monika Cayson; currently I live in Fort Knox, KY with my wonderful husband Giles, our daughter Jennifer & our pet dog Blacky. Jennifer is going to Graduate High School in May of 2005.
Ok let me start with my journey and tell you all what I have done so far. On January 6, 2003 I had the Lab Band put in. I weight a whopping 320 pounds at the time. The Lab Band worked out great for a while. I lost almost 100 pounds and became pregnant in September of 2004. I only carried the baby for about 4 weeks & had a miscarriage. I became pregnant a second time in November of 2004 and lost the baby in January of 2005. I gained back about 80 pounds. I am more miserable now than I ever been. Not just did I feel like a FAILURE, due to loosing the babies & not being able to give my husband the only thing he ever asked off me. I started to build my own little world around me and did not want anyone to be involved in it.
It took me several tries to contact my Doctor and tell him that I have failed and that I am now ready to GRAB THE BULL BY THE HORNS. Dr. Rodriguez listened to me and said that the Band may not have been the right choice for me and that if I wanted to he would help me to start over again. He did the paperwork and the Jenna & Rita his Nurses in his office bend over Backwards to get all my stuff done, to include getting approved.
I now have a date for Surgery on March 11, 2005. We'll see how it works out. I will keep you all posted.

Dear Monika, I was so saddened by your post. I am very sorry for your loss. I hope that your next procedure will go well and that you can start working on being heathy and happy. If you send a message back to me I wont get it for about 2 weeks Im leaving tommorow for my lap in San Diego Schedualed for the 8th. All the best Lisa
