Post Op report for me surgery 3/1

Hi all, I am home after having lap rny on 3/1 Everything went well, I only had a bit of trouble waking up and spent a long while in recovery. I had something very unusual happen but thats a long long story. I was not really prepared for the pain and discomfort and am still in awe that I am home managing this on my own. Keep in mind tho, that I have never had any other surgery in my life other than tubes when I was a child. I have had 2 babies and this was much much more painful and the only thing I have currently is a 12 lb weight gain from water! I am sure that things will get better. I am very amazed at my feelings and thoughts about food. I am completely indifferent about food, and most of the time find that I have to force the flds in me. I only want enough that my mouth stays moist. Even that is getting easier. I also have found that most jello and juice is way way too sweet for my liking. Weird!
