I've got my Surgery Date - 3 Weeks!!!

Now I just need a physchiatric evaluation. I could not believe how quickly it happened the bariatric team sent to insurance for approval on March 1st and we got the response March 2nd. My Surgery is scheduled for March 22nd. I've waited so long and now its happening so quickly. I've been in therapy twice a week since January and its going well, I was afraid that my emotional nature would sabatoage me after surgery, but I feel stable and even now. I look at magazines differently knowing that now someday soon I will be able to wear thoes clothes, walk for longer than 5 minutes, be able to touch every part of my body, and most important lose my low self esteem, some days I don't even go to work, I'm tired of being the freak show and worrying about standing time, I'm ready to live life and live it well....

Congrats!! I hope all goes well for you!! my date is the 22nd as well, so I will be thinking of you everytime I think about my own surgery!! (which right now is every 2 seconds!!) Hillary
