Surgery Date Scheduled

Well everyone I have my surgery date scheduled for March 15, 2005. Hopefully nothing will happen to me when I am flying to Texas from Orlando, Fl to have it done. This has been a big decision for me to make and hopefully it is the right one. I would appreciate anyone who wants to to pray for me and my safe, quick recovery. Thanks in advance. Ryan

Best of luck to you Ryan!!! My surgery is scheduled for Monday the 7th. I'll be glad to add you to my prayer list. Good luck with the flight too!!! I've never been on a plane before, but I've had surgery. I would be more scared to fly!! haha. Keep us posted.

Hey Ryan!! Guess what, we are date-mates! Mine is the 15th too! Just strap on your seatbelt and enjoy the ride! Literally, and metaphorically. I have a friend who also had the procedure done almost 2 yrs ago, and she refers to it as a ride on a plane. I look at it as we are ready for take off, and we need to kick back and enjoy the ride. I understand about this being a big decision for you. It is for all of us. But you know what? You will get your life back! And isn't that the goal here? I used to think this was the easy way out, and I am soooooo sorry I ever thought that, because this decision is ANYTHING but easy. I am looking forward to the transformation. Think of it, what you look like under there, and what it will be like to have a normal blood pressure reading and never having to use those meds again. I can't wait! I will be praying for God to guide your pilot's AND surgeons hands, just like someone said to me yesterday. You're going to do great!!! Sending you an angel, Laura

March 15 is my birthday, Ryan! It's always been a good day for me and I know it will be for you! My date is March 7. You'll do just great and will be starting a wonderful journey to a healthier life. Good luck!! Greg
