God its hard to believe only 2 more nights till my chance at a whole new life! I cant believe I have been one of the lucky ones to get picked to do this. I'm scared and nervous, and excited, and happy, you name it all rolled into one ball of nerves. I think I'm all ready...sf jello and pudding, crystal light, decaf tea, applesauce and juice, some campbells thai broth, my protien powder and skim milk powder. I even have a Bari-Bunny to take with me to the hospital. (I love bunnies). Anyway....good luck to all the other Marchers! See you soon on the loosing side!

WOW... Lorrie,
Take time to enjoy your scared nervous/excited happy energy and do something fun. Write letters, do your nails, do some scrapbooking, organize pictures, write Easter Cards. Clean out all of your unwanted "FAT" clothes that you wont need in a week or two.
WORK IT GIRL... your are as prepared as you could possibly be. It is in God's hands now.
My prayers are with you.
E-us as soon as you get home.

My surgery day is the same as yours. I am sitting in a hotel right now in Calexico as I type this. Tuesday I will head across the border to Mexicali to have my surgery. I am so excited, and nervous too. So I know how you feel. Isn't this nerve wracking and exciting at the same time? Good luck with your surgery and I will look forward to reading more from you when you recover!
To everyone who has posted I wish God's blessing on you all, and pray for an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery. You all will do great and although only a month post op myself it is incredible the journey you are about to begin. I know you are nervous and excited and have all these roller coaster of emotions and isn't great to know that we ALL go through this? But with God's grace you guys will be updating us with your pounds lost. Make sure you keep us updated when you get out the hospital. God bless you all
