Hi All! Got 18 days till my preop appt and 19 till the surgery. Went out and bought sublingual B12-500mcg, Flax, Fish borage oil ( there in pills) Biotin 1500 mcg and Equate creamy milk chochlate weight loss shakes, they have only 10 grams of protein and im only going to be drinking one a day , cause the 65 grams of protein a day is for after surgery , right? Oh and I got silver centrum vitamins, Does all that sound okay or is it too much vitamins or anything? I read the Biotin should be the sublingual too but I couldnt find it in that. OKay , any advice I will take! Oh and I bought my slippers and chapstick. After the surgery will I be able to take pills. like my welbutrin and these vitamins? I am so excited, Can you tell! Peace to all, Dawn

No, you really can actually up your protein now because it helps your healing by "protein-loading" as they call it. How much sugar is in your shakes? I'd suggest trying to find some protein drinks you might like - with more like 25-30 gr protein per serving. There are lots of options out there - Champion Whey Chocolate Stack, ProBlend55 Vanilla or strawberry, there are tons out there.... some places I know, like vitalady, sell samples that can help.

Check the amounts of each vitamin....I was told by nutritionist that you need 1200-1500 mg calcium a day, but not all at one time. 325 mg iron, and 1000 mcg of B12 once a week. I was also told that I needed any prescriptions to be in either chewable or liquid form and the same for vitamins also. I know you bought all this stuff but you could buy bariatric vitamins and it would be a little easier to figure out.

Do not use for weight reduction. So can I use that for my protein powder or no? Thanks for any help on this. Its is just confusing that it sounds like the protein powder I need yet it says dont use for weight loss and as a supplement?
