10 days away...Im so excited..The liquid diet is a bit of a challange with 3 kids ages 6 4 and 2 the temptation to eat what I make for them is there but I've come to love Slim Fast Chocolate Malt shakes and fat free strawberry jello. I'll be staying with my mom after surgery so my kids will have someone to care for them post op.

Hi - My sugery is 3/1/05 and I am both equally nervous and excited. Did the preop tell you that in the few days before surgery you shouldn't eat anything with red/dark coloring in it???

I too still have the nervousness but my excitement is out weighing it lol...I dont recalling me told during my preop work up not to eat anything with red or dark I'm go re-read through all the papers that they gave me
