MEXICO ANYONE?

I was just wondering if anyone on this forum will be having there surgery done in Mexico? I am getting the lap band on March 23rd and I am going to Mexico to have it done. S Williams

Just curious as to why you are going to Mexico?

My insurance company(bcbs) requires 12 months supervised diet before even considering the surgery and I do not have 1 YEAR!!!!! I have tried all of my life! I then begin to search and noticed that it is much cheaper in Mexico, so I wouldn't have to go into debt to better my life. And also, Dr.'s have been performing lap bands over there for far longer that it was even approved here in the state's. I know that Mexico sounds scray, but the word MORBID OBESITY really does not sound "not so normal" either. Thanks, S Williams
