Hi! I am new to this board. My surgery is scheduled!!

I am scheduled to have BPD/Duodenal Switch on March 10th with the wonderful Dr. Keshishian!!! I'm so excited!! Though my boyfriend says I don't seem very excited LOL - I just don't know what to do with myself until then ;)

Congratulations Malia! I just had to respond. I had my surgery March 10th of 2004 so I was lurking on this board reminiscing about where I was last year at this time. What caught my eye was your surgery date, but also your town. I lived in Ukiah and Redwood Valley when I was a little kid, have a sister who just moved from there, and still have a good friend who lives in that area. My most fond childhood memories are of when we lived down there! Just had to say "howdy!" Dina

THank you all so much for your kind replies!!! I can't wait, I will be having open surgery - the pain part will suck but I just want to get this all behind me and begin anew! =)
