Can't Believe it's going so smoothly

Saw surgeon on 12/7/04, On Jan 19th, 2005 received letter from United Health Care surgery is covered. Although they will only cover 75% after a $100.00 deductible. Barix Clinic in Langhorne PA is out-of network. Maximum out of pocket is $1,500.00 for me plus any additional charges above what is considered reasonable and customary. Today Jan 21,2005 spoke with Hillary of Barix Clinic and have pre-admission testing on 2/17 with surgery to follow on March 8th. Can't believe this is going so smoothly. Dr. Alan Brader will be performing his magic on me.

lois are you sure thry are out of net work because i am having my surgery there as well with dr Brader they told me that at first but then called to say everything was ok talk to hillary and got date of march 23

Thanks Latonia, you also have United Health Care Plus? Whom did you call to find out. Laura called me on 1/21 and stated that they were out of network that info was also from Elizabeth. Hillary called me for the date and asked if my insurance was the same, told her yes. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Will find out when the pre-admission testing starts, 2/17. No matter what, the surgery will be the best investment for myself. Laura also stated that she had just talked to the Nurse from United, so I guess it's who ever your employer is. Hi Lois Congrats. I'll be at Barix 3/8 having my pre-op tetsing and surgery 3/22. I plan on going to their next pre-op support group. Maybe I'll see you? I have Dr. Brader too! I thought he was terrififc. Keep in touch Jan D.
