I WAS APPROVED SO FAST AND I HAVE A DATE
I just decided to have this surgery a month ago. I have thought about it for a long time but finally took action. I had my first consultation with my surgeon on 12/28/04. The doctors office phoned in my request to the isurance company on 1/14/05 and I was approved today 1/20/05. I'm exited and nervous. I could have had surgery as early as Feb. 24th. but I still have to some pre-op things. Has anyone on this site used Dr. Anne Lidor, in Baltimore ,MD (John Hopkins)for their surgery? If so, I would like to hear from you.
Hi Hope. I also finally got serious about the surgery in Dec. Saw surgeon on 12/7. Approved 1st letter 1/19/05. Scheduled for pre-testing on 2/17 and surgery on 3/8 in Langhorne, PA. Using the Barix Clinic which is out-of network for my insurer. Like the research I did and the write ups I saw so am going to dish out the 25% my insurer will not pay. Barix informed me only up to $1,500.00 for me plus a $100.00 deductable. Good Luck. This is really going fast for me but I am 100% sure I am making the right decision and no turning back for me.
