It's been awhile!
I haven't posted in ages, but decided to stick my head in and say hello.
My surgery date was March 7, 2005 and I weighed 342 that morning. Today, I am maintaining around 187. I did reach my goal of 178, but haven't done much in the way of exercise in awhile (long story.) I'm going to drop 5 lbs and I hope to stay in the 180-185 range after that.
Hope everybody in the March '05 club are doing well!

Greg,
Glad you're doing so well. Your weight loss is amazing! I had a regain last year of 31 pounds, but I've lost all but 5 pounds again. My regain was just because I started eating too much, not exercising enough. I like food as much as always! Good luck with the last 5 pounds you want to lose.

I copied this from the graduate board that I just posted there. I feel you pain and understand your concern. I am 5/1" and not young.
I joined last week and am doing the flex plan. I think that is what it is--I am counting the points. I have belonged to WW several times before, but never wrote food down or counted much, but I am this time. I got myself a 'diet-minder' from Amazon. It has columns for fat, carbs, protein, etc. There is also an extra column that I am putting my points in. I am still drinking lots of protein drinks. I write them down and count the protein and points for them along with carbs, etc. WW does not require that you count anything other than points, but I am tracking the other stuff, too.
I think I have lost a couple of pounds. I have gained 13 pounds from my lowest weight and would love to lose it permanently. I hurt my knee and have not been able to exercise for about 6 weeks now. Also I have had revision to TT/BL and my arms done two weeks ago, so I am not exercising much now. I have started back to walking and am taking dance lessons. I was taking spinning and pwoer lifting at gym but can not do that now.
