What's the longest you've ever stalled?
I weighed in at 200 on 8/26 and have been there ever since. Actually there were two times that I was at 205, but panicked and got right back to 200. But I have not broke that barrier since. I want to get under 200, but I know I eat things I should not and graze too much and have let off on the exercise. Right now I am just trying to maintain and figure out why I don't do all I should to keep going. My life is so much better after losing 186 pounds. I am enjoying it, but I know it is not complete as long as I know I have not done everything I could to complete it. Maybe we need time to adjust, maybe this is the "window" closing, but I will not give up. Don't you give up either.
Ok the longest plateau which is now weighing at 194-201 back and forth since june till now .I'm tired of this and it is driving me crazy.Been trying to get in the century club for over a year now and it only 10lbs I'm trying to lose.I just want to lose another 30-50lbs and I'm done.Well some of it is my fault because those carbs love me and stick with me and my hips lol. So we are going to try again to get this last couple of lbs off so I can go for my TT.I hope you can get that TT before summer.

I have been around 187 for four months now. I have lost 120 pounds and feel great but still would like to get a little more off. I got sick 4 months ago and lost 5 pounds. Was stalled for months before that. Very irritating after losing so fast for so long. I am 185.5 today so feel good about that. This is the lowest so far.
I'm down to 137 and have been here for at least 6 months. I think I would weigh less if it wasn't for all the loose skin and saggy body parts. Have you tried going back to basics starting with liquids, then mushes for a couple days? I did this once and it got the scale moving for me again. If you work out every day, I bet your muscle tone is very nice. Keep up the good work.
Take care,

I was 315 and now 160-160. When I hit the 200 mark I had a stall that lasted about 2 months. I finally broke it by upping my calorie intake and walking more. I wasnt eating enough so my body started holding onto all the calories it could. I have been at goal for awhile the lowest I got was 150 right after surgery when they had me just on saline and not glucose iv and I was not allowed to eat. It took a bit to gain that way back but now I am where I want to be. Don't get discouraged just try different things to restart your losing. It will happen!!!

Thanks everyone! It's wonderful to see that I'm not in this alone. I think I snack to much at night, but I am constantly counting calories. I don't eat over 1000 and I exercise everyday. I went to NYC this weekend and it seems like I may have broken my plateau from all the walking I did. Thank goodness for NYC subways and no car! I'll keep plugging along. Maybe I need to challenge my body by trying new exercises.

So far my longest stall was about 10 weeks, I think, starting around the time I jacked up my exercise routine on 6/29 and thru the end of August - I'd have to check my profile. But it was agonizing! I was working harder than ever, upped my protein due to the increased activity, upped my water, really stayed between the lines, and my "reward" was week after week after week of bouncing around the same 2 pounds. I became so fearful that my time losing was DONE! But eventually it picked up again. My plan is to get this last 25 or so off - hopefully my body will stay on board for this plan! I am now about 196, my lowest was 194. Aiming for 170, then plastics. I hope I'm not done losing weight. And if you don't want to be done, then I hope you're not, either! Best wishes reaching your goals! Kathy
