Oh Reenie she sounds adorable....I'm glad you finally got alittle sunshine in your life! My baby is doing very well...98% housebroken only one accident my fault cause I didn't rush her out after playing and gulping alot of water argggg...other then that once she is dong wonderful....she seems eager to please, alot easier then my other dogs were at her age. I have her sitting, fetching somewhat and coming on command....tomorrow I'm trying a leash on her, should be fun lol....as for whats she is eating...I tried taste of the wild but she wasn't to fond of that, so I am feeding her what my other eat Canadae All Life Stage dog food...kibble...she loves it and I give her like these dried chicken things for an occasional treat which she LOVES!!!!too much!!!! But she is soo good and growing like a weed already, I really think she is going to turn into a wonderful dog....I'm going to get her into some form of training when she is older cause her drives are unreal, excellent...so we will see...either protection or schutzhund...we have a club not 15 minutes from my house, I take my male shepherd there, he's good, but this one looks very promising...I'm in love! And ohhhhh I swear by the crate...best thing for dogs since sliced bread!

Hi Kim, thanks for asking - now I get to gush! OMG, she is so incredible! She is the funniest little puppy and she has brought such joy to our family. Our house is filled with laughter again - my 16 year old son is laughing out loud - and often. Oh, the gifts are beloved pets are.  Ollie is incredibly beautiful, so smart - she's already potty trained and crate trained, and she learned "sit" in about 5 minutes this a.m. I take her out for her first walk at 5:00 a.m. and it's dark and cold and the stars are overhead and I have this little puppy in my heart and in my life - and it's so, so wonderful. I will try to take some photos by this weekend. How is your baby girl doing? Hey, what are you feeding her? Ollie doesn't like the Iams puppy food.  She is just so funny. By the time we get home in the early evening she is so full of energy because she's been in the crate all day - and we play and play and play, just non-stop, and she's absolutely full of this most amazing energy and then all of a sudden she'll stop cold in her tracks, like she's paralyzed or something, she'll just stop cold like she's been broadsided by the thought, "MAN, AM I TIRED!" And she'll start to fall asleep right there on the spot, standing up! And I scoop her up into my arms and before she's resting her face against my heartbeat, she's sound asleep. She is an ab****e joy - Maureen

Topic: Main Board Support
Good morning, Marchers. I've become active on the Main Board--good people, a variety of topics, good energy. A couple of you suggested that the support I was getting here wasn't enough - you were right, this is absolutely true. I wanted to drop in and invite anyone who needs better support to check out the Main Board - and the other Boards OH offers that will provide more of what you need - and to email me personally if I can ever be of help to you. I wish everyone peace and happiness in this ongoing journey. Be well, Maureen

Topic: I"m not sure if its Monday or Sunday!
OMG I woke up this morning at my regular work time 4:30ish!!! for some reason I thought it was Monday NOT sunday! Now I can not get back to sleep.
Its Holiday busy time at work, theres not alot of extra money if any for the Holiday gift thing, end of year, weight, heating costs, electricty, elderly mom - these are the things going through my head that is keeping me awake. argggg
Health wise I' mdoing pretty good. so i'm concetrating on that and working very hard on not thinking about the things I can not change.
money is always an issue. so i'm going to let it go. i' mdoing the best that i can.
elderly mom not much i can do about that either than to call and visit when i can.
work is work its crazy time so on the weekdays i get up and go and am thankful that i have a job.
weight - again i' mworking on it and i' mhealthly so let it go!
seems llike i have it all covered! must be some other underling thing that is struggling to get to the top of the list that i've pushed so far back that it has to work extra hard to be noticed soooo it just reminds me of the other stuff. oooo i think i see it waving its hands up high!
pick me pick me!
yeaaaa its the relationship one standing back there. but i' mnot ready to acknowledge it just yet so i guess i'll let it stay back there where it can cause me some early wake ups.
on the other hand i'll type about my recent visit to the homepathic doc!
she is awesome.
now she has me taking fish oil. it smells like lemon. its oily but it slides so quickly down that you wonder if you had really poured it into the teaspoon. i choose the liquid instead of the tablet becasue i'm not good at taking pills. they always seem to get stuck. i was worried cause i can't seem to remember things as good as i could before. alot of that is due to my very busy life work, family, house, boyfriend lions you name it so she said i dont' think you have alzhiemers which was my big worry she said i think its your busy life but lets have you take fish oil cause its good for a lot of things. Ok so she didn't say it like that but it was how i interpeted it. I'm trusting her cause all the other things she's had me do work.
we talked about how we can boost my metabolism which stinks. i'm back at the gym for the past week after taking 4 weeks off due to the nasty cold i had. let me change that to the very nasty cold i had. i feel like i'm totally starting over.
on to more rambling.....
my cat is driving me nuts. she does nt want me typing so early on a sunday morning so she is trying to sit on my lap which keeping her tail swishing over th ekeys and tap her paw on my cheek. it really is kinda cute. time to go give her some quality petting.

Sooooooo Cute! And your puppy's not bad lookin' either!!    Jim fetches Ollie at around 4:30 today from the airport! I feel like an expectant mom, I just can't wait. So, give me some pointers here, Kim, it's been 15 years since I had a puppy at home! Are you crate training? What are you feeding her? Tell me what to do!!! Maureen

Topic: RE: For Judy and Anyone Else...
Hi Judy, just know that you've got a friend here in Connecticut who is thinking good thoughts for you! I've done better these past two days, kicked up my workouts and eaten quite well, but I have not been able to stay away from the candy. Knowing you're in this with me today might be just what I need! Take care, Maureen
