It is easy for your doctor to say to go back to eating as if you first had the surgery. Obviously, she does not know much about your anatomy after the surgery or she would not have said that. Personally, I can't sustain myself on a half a cup of yogurt and a half a cup of cottage cheese a day. That's what I ate for the most part after surgery, with a few protein bars thrown in. I don't know how much you've gained or how over weight you are, but your doctor sounds like a bit of an alarmist. Leaving off the carbs is not the answer. Healthy, well balanced eating is. And, of course, some form of exercise.
Take care, eat healthy and be well!

you are in my prayers....................
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

God has given me this day to use as I will. I can waste it or use it for good. Today is very imporant, because I'm exchaning a day of my life for it.
