The curry seasoning is a must in my book you can eat as much as you want of this soup... doesnt make you gain. Obviously. But it has a great taste. I think. and its good for you too!

I'm much more of a lurker than a poster these days and haven't even been doing an adeqate job of lurking, so maybe tonight I can find some time to catch up on the posts.
We made one of those overnight trips to CT this past weekend (leave early Sat a.m. and drive up and hit the road for home early afternoon on Sunday) to see my parents. Mom was 89 on October 1 and I've not seen her since possibly last December. I am so over the guilt my sister tries to heap on me for not visiting more often, but I felt a need to be there this past weekend. I have a wonderful picture that Mr Mo took of me with Mom and I'll try to get it posted on my profile tonght to share. Mom has Alzheimers, so while she still 'knows' me she doesn't know a whole lot else and it's hard to have a conversation. She knows she is confused and is so frustrated. This weekend was a special visit. She looked like a million bucks and we watched some old WWII movies on TCM with her and dad, and just had some quiet companionable time. If this was the last time I were to see her I would have very special memories of the visit.
Anyway, I need to get to get busy, but wanted to post and promise to try to get of lurkdom and be a more productive member of this group!
Hugs, Mo
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
