hello!
march 1st and i was drawn to our page. i wonder how many of the Oldies will be joining us this month?
year number 7.
where does the time go?
i can ont complain.
i'm holding the weight at 179. not to bad kept it here for a few years. its a struggle to keep it there but hey i've kept off over 100 pounds for 7 years.
my health is doing pretty good.
blood sugar under control.
i need to excersize more. like more than once a month!
7 years...
would i do it again?
yes.
in a heart beat.
love to all of us and to myself too!

hey kimmy!!!
health wise things are looking good! my only complaint right now is how hard it is to lose 10 pounds. arggg its hard to be normal! let me know if they come up with a surgey that takes away food addictions ahahah
on the other hand february has been brutal.
snow. i'm not a snow person and of course my job has me on the road during the daytime AND i need to be so that i can sell SO i can make money and pay my bills. when it snows i become a hermit. the fear of driving in it is just terrible. hey is there a snow surgry??? i'm plugging away and doing the bet that i can with that. thi syear i bought a surbaru that has been awesome in the snow so i've made more work days than usual! thats a plus.
then theres the condo....ice dams...stupid condo assoictiona says that the damage from the ice dams melting and ruining my ceilings are my responsiblity that their insurance won't cover it. well its not just their insurance its mine! my fees pay for that stuff so its going to be a battle.
theres a ton of other minor things that are making me wishing tha march would just get here.
the last being my upstairs toilet clog. ARGGGGG
but i'm going to keep smiling!
good luck and god bless

hi kim, my christmas was filled with family! it was great. my 7 week old granddaughter was here along with my 90 year old mother. lots of laughs and pictures.
i over ate GASP hahaha i had 2 slices of a low calorie strawberry yogurt pie that was awesome. i also had baked beans and a meatball. the bad thing was i had 2 white bread mini rolls. in addition to turkey and vegis' now it wasn't a big cheat but it wans't what i normally eat. of course the scale le tme know how unhappy it was with me but i'm hopeing after excerisze and being back on track that it will get back to were it was prechristmas.
i threw the left overs away.
even though the strawberyr yorgurt pie was "legal" it was the type of thing that i would eat in 2 days useless calories.
O I did have one bite of a chocolate cream pie that was right in the trash as soon as the teaspoon was in my mouth. i knew that was nothing but trouble. hahaah
of course i also paid for it today with the low blood sugar headache and in a fog. that if anything reminded me how being "good" is best.
heres to a wonderful 2011!!!!!

i avoid the sweets. pumpkin pie is my downfall so i have a slice the size of my pinky finger and when the company leaves the left over pie is in the trash. i do not even think twice about tossing it caues i know if its in this house i will eat more of it. o sure i won't eat the whole pie but i'd eat enough to gain or mess up my blood sugar so it goes.
this year at income tax time i'm going to forget about purchasing the gym membership and just go buy a tread mill. i've got the space for it in my den. so many times over the past year i wanted to go to the gym but didn't mainly cause i'd get home from work then start laundry take the dog out have dinner and befor ei knew it it was really late and i was ready for bed. or the gym wasn't open when ic ould get there.
so my den is going to become my work out room. i already do most of my work out down there its the walking that i need to do. sorry no can go out in the cold or rain or snow to walk. call me lazy but i can't stand to feel misrable and walk. plus with the blood sugar i feel better closer to home in case i should not feel well.
not that i have any problems with that right now things are going good with it its under control with diet and excerise. i need MORE excersize so i can lose weight! at least gain muscle!
so that is my new years resolution. its just the same one that i've had for most of my life! hahaha
On another note if I don't make it back here before Christmas..I wish each and everyone one of you a Wonderful Christmas with all your love ones and a Safe&Prosperous New Year!!!!
Oh and Pammy..I forgot to ask....How's that sweet Grandbaby doing??!!!!!

Its December and You know what that means!

this time of year even more than any other we need to keep track of what we eat. be honest with ourselves and write it down even that small slice of cherry cheese cake that the woman in accounting brought in an you just had to eat it cause you couldnt be rude.
acknowledge it and move on.
count those calories even the cheese cake
don't beat your self up over it but work hard at not doing it again.
give yourlself one treat a week.
