Hey Dawgy-Dawg! I'm here. I check in at least every other day to see how everyone is doing. I try to stay tuned in on everyone's latest milestones. Sometimes it still amazes me that this wonderful group of March 2004-ers are still going strong. I'm often awed by the tremendous support of this group. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have y'all to fall back on when needed. Group hug..........!!! Thanks for checking up on us lurkers!! Hugs! -W-

I'm heeeeere! Just back from dancing. I know, I know. Went to work today for the first time since surgery. Shopping after work and then dancing. I'm starting to finally wind down. Just realized that where the incision (from my arm lift) puckers at the end of my elbow sort of looks like a nipple. What a blessing to go into surgery with two nipples and come out with 4. OK, OK, these are commonly referred to as dog ears and removed by the plastic surgeon in a revision. Until he removes them, I'm referring to them as nipples, just as I referred to my drains as ornaments. I'm pretty on track with food and my water intake is fantastic. My hair stinks like cigarette smoke so off to the shower and then to bed. Gotta work in the morning. Oh, it is morning... Hugs, Connie

Four nipples makes for an udder... I have that puckering at my elbow, worse on one arm than the other -- it's gotten much better, though. Hang in there, kiddo - and get horizontal! Ah, never mind...Maureen

Trying to stay sane and fighting a loosing battle it seems LOL! somehow I gained about 6 pounds and I am trying to keep track of everything in my mouth the next few days to see what is happening. I cannot join the gym til summer, Kindergarten is kicking my butt these days! and nights at the ball park with my homerun dreby kids (age 9 and age 5!) woohoo BUT SITTING ON THE BLEACHERS DOESN"T KICK MY BUTT ANYMORE!!! Idon't have my 2 year doctor visit for a few more weeks (dang he is busy!) OK...kindergarteners in the computer lab without my assistance for 2 minutes is a recored! LOL nic 291/161 lowest weight on record since 1980's/167-168 trying to get back to 160 or lower!

i'm here- feeling like the hamster on the wheel- can't catch myself for trying! i'll try to grab some quiet this weekend and post- i still owe my two year anniversary post

Yep--here and growing, emotionally that is! Lost 100# and have kept it off for about 8 months now! Need to rev up exercise and friendships.. Terry

Huhloooo out there! Better late than never, huh? I'm still here alive and kicking and busy as all get out with various work related tasks. The first thing I am working on is a compilation of photographs in a nice design of all our troopers who fell in the line of duty. It will go back to Washington DC with the Honor Guard to the Police Officers' Memorial in May. The next thing I'm working on, is, of course, the www.saveosp.org websitet which I haven't done much on lately, but I did make the Channel 12 news with it a couple weeks ago finally. Along with that, the union's political action committee is meeting this coming week to set up the foundation that will help run this campaign to get OSP dedicated funding. I was asked by the union secretary if I would sit on that board - which to me is an honor being asked, even if he doesn't have the final word. Tells me he sees value in my vision. He wants just 4 people on the board, so I am eager to hear the outcome. Either way though - like I said - I am flattered just being thought of in that manner. Then the other day someone brought up the possibility I would be able to go to the next recruit class and take some video for training and edit it/put it on DVD - so that really excited me. I don't think I'd have time to make this class, but maybe next one. Who knows. Either way all I know is I'm one busy chickie right now and rather enjoying the diversion! Dina

I'm in a emotional delima of grown children getting married, engaged, and moving far far away from their poor old mommy. dam i hate them growning up. the oldest (31) gets married in 8 weeks. the good thing is i've got the most perfect mother of the groom dress in the whole wide world. makes me look like jackie O and marilyn monroe all wrapped up into one perfect sparkly gold dress. got a choker sparkly necklace and earrings. still looking for the perfect high heel shoes that will show up my skinny legs cause this long dress has a neat slit on the side. cross your fingers it will happen this weekend. got to do a good job cause I'm gonna be seeing the extremely heavy X with his girlfriend who USE to be thin but now is my old size. hehehe meowwwwww then theres the daughter (28) who just got engaged. she will be moving 3 states away from mom by the end of october to be with her finacee. OH the youngest My baby (27) will be moving with them when they go. It jsut happens to be in the same town that my mother and sister live in. I've broken my engagement cause #1 I don't want to marry him for personal reasons #2 I want to move too if my family does #3 I'm hormonal and menopausal and don't need any other reasons. theres all kind of other things that are just driving me nuts. other than that I feel wonderful! Healthy! still holding at 157 and playing with my 5 pounds. they go on they go off. Right now trying to keep them off more than on due to that gold dress. I'd hate to split that slit right up to no mans land on my sons big day. especailly with the X & his girlfriend who we refer to as Satan and skeletor. Oh yeah I'm here...

Hey there, I am still kickin' and doing well after my lower body lift in Sept and my outer thigh liposculpture in March. Went to my surgeon for my two year checkup and I weighed exactly one pound less than a year ago, so I was psyched! Yeah! I have kept "it" off for a year! Let's hope next year's news is as good! Ain't life grand?!!!!!!! Hugs, Karen
