Yes, it's been a while.  Life is always so busy and I don't know where all the time goes.  It is just flying right by.  Things with me are good.  My weight has been stable for a long time now, seems I have a routine I sort of stick to.  Some days I am starving and some days I'm not hungry.  I have not eliminated any foods at all, but I just eat in moderation.  I am very fortunate that I can do that.  My weight has been the same for a very long time.
In other news, my daughter is getting ready to graduate from college.  I can't believe how fast the time went by.  She will  be attending graduate school either in Georgia or California, not sure which one yet.  It will be a hectic time I am sure.
I am very much looking forward to summer.....I've had enough of this snow stuff.  I'm not a winter time person to begin with and this has not helped at all.

Hope everyone is well....take care!

JOANIE!!   So good to see your post. You are the Poster Child for WLS maintenance, and I'm so happy you've found your groove! Our daughter is also in her last semester and like you, I don't know where the time has gone. She comes home (from Canada) for a visit next weekend. Can't wait! Ah, you will hear me screaming from the rooftops when I see my first crocus! Love toyou, Maureen

O its so good to see you Joanie!
i'm with you and everyone else who is sick of snow. if i was really brave i'd look into moving someplace nice and warm.
congrats to both you and Reenie with the girls and school.
and your weight! wow that is awesome!
you know for a long time i looked at the smallest weight that i'd been after surgery which was 157. but i was only that size for a brief time not even a full week. so i say O i've gained 25 pounds since my lowest weight and yes that statement is true.
but the weight that i maintained for the most amount of time was 167 that was for like 4 and a half years.
now pleae you guys tell me if this makes sense but shouldn't i be using that long term maintained weight as the one? that means i've gained like 15 pounds which isnt as disturbing to me.
O yea i'd love to be in the 150's but realistically i think the 167 is good for my body build and height.
so from now on i officially am saying that i've gained 15 pounds.
you know that took a weight off my shoulders.

Works for me! Really, this makes good sense. So if I apply your theory to my cir****tances, I maintained between 145-150 for about 4 years - so I'll split the difference and say 148. I'm at 164 this a.m., so that means I've gained 16 lbs. I can live with that - and still work like the Dickens to get back to 150, which is where I'd like to be. More than that, though, I want to feel fit and strong again - have really let go of my workout, so that's going to be my focus. Thanks for your good thoughts about my daughter (and Joanie's), Pam - that means a lot! Love to all - Maureen
