About to Do Something Really Scary!

A friend is picking me and Laela up, and we're heading out to the Goodwin Forest on the trails - she's got a big ol' gelding that will hopefully channel some confidence Laela's way and we'll hack out for miles without incident. It's an incredibly beautiful pre-fall day in Connecticut - I'm excited. I'm in my breeches and boots and feeling fit and strong, my abs are pretty tight, my legs feel like they are up to the challenge of finding the strength to communicate to Laela properly so that she has a good time. Now, if she decides that she's terrified, she will both and I might not live to tell the tale... think good thoughts, and I hope you all have a glorious day, enjoying your bodies in a manner that causes you to think, "Hey, I DID this! I changed my body so that I have changed the way I'm living my life!" Wish me luck!!!

Ah, it was wonderful, Judy - thanks! Laela was Golden - she was in her element and really enjoyed the hike, not nervous at all. We'll be doing a lot more of this - have a great day. Be well, Maureen

The last time I was on  horse, I weighed about 350 lbs & thought I would kill the horse Would love to do it now that I am smaller. (also some 20 yrs ago)
