Hi Everyone
Hope everyone is well. Sorry I dropped off the face of the earth there for awhile. It's been a hectic summer. I didn't really get a good chance to scan through the messages, just a few. Marylin so sorry you are having so much trouble! and big hugs Connie! Not much going on with me. I was doing pretty well with loosing some of the major weight I had gained and lost about 20 pounds. But nothing lately. Just staying in one spot. I am chaning my work hours next week which should allow me time to start back at the gym here after work. Hopefull that will kick start things again. I had been thinking of revision surgery. But ruled out the whole DS switch thing. It's just too risky and too much to go through. I've thought about the band but not sure on that either. SOoooo... we'll see how well working out does and if I am still majorly struggling after that then will look into things more seriously. I have to get my bloodwork done this week or next as I have a physical on the 18th. I'm nervous to see what my levels are. I was deficient in iron, D and B12 last time. So I'm nervous about what the results are going to be this time around. Hopefully better! Been taking my multis every day so I should be ok. My fingers are crossed. Hugs to everyone!

Oh, how I've worried and wondered about you... so nice to see your face again! Many of us are struggling. I have changed things up a bit this past week and am feeling better, I think - and have lost about 6 lbs. For the past 3 years or so, I always have my protein shake in the a.m. on my way to work (around 7:30) - I feel pretty full with it (yogurt and fruit added) and it holds me quite well until mid-morning snack (celery and PB). But by the time I get home from work, I'm on the rampage for food, food, FOOD. I'm starving. And stressed from the day. So what I've done this week is start my morning with a good 'ol bowl of oatmeal with a small peach sliced into it. I bring it to work with me and zap it, at around 8:30 - now I'm feeling pretty satiated until lunch! I will eat my usual small salad for lunch (with protein), and for dinner I am now having my protein shake. Four days later I'm down 6 lbs. and feeling so much better, less lethargic, and I'm working out on my lunch hour again. I really think it's important to shake things up - kind of rattle your body out of complacency. I see my surgeon on 9/21 and will be talking to him about this insatiable hunger, and how hard it is to lose weight no matter how little I'm eating. Will share his insight with the Board. I've missed you, Elizabeth. Maureen
Hi Lady
So glad to see your smile on here today. Glad you are doing O.K. We are for sure all
struggling with weight in some way or another. I had 30 of my regain off, now it's only
15 off of my regain with all the health crap I have been through of late.
Don;'t be a stranger & please post more when you can!!
