Baseball is odd.
We went to a game last night. the coach was on the side line. i thought he was having fits. slapping his leg rubbing his ear picking his nose. tapping his tummy. i turned to my boyfreind and said when are they going to get the medic for that poor guy???
I guess you can tell that i am not a sports fan...
I'm still glad that i had the surgery too.
I know we are very different now than others. Oh well. but there are alot of ways that i'm thrilled with how i am like others. i like blending.
what i don't like is the medical parts.
i am glad that alot of the issues that i have are not related. if i had not had the problems with low blood sugar in the past i would right off the bat after reading everything nbelive that was teh cause of it. We are prone to it after surgry. Even my doctor A has paperwork he gave me when i went to him about it. so even he now admits that it can be a down side. soooo i'm sure there are other things that i do not have a clue about.
its kind of like if you read the precaustions on the medicine labels to watch out for taht some people can get this or that issues but if you dont' take the meds then you have to suffer. weight and measure not only our foods but those things too.
i guess it bothers me taht there isnt anyone who posts to these forums that are 10 years out. so what happens after 10 years? do you disapear or do you get another surgery?
what i do now when people ask me what i think about the surgry i tell them research research rsearch. And know that there are issues that you can get but you might not. I tellthem to KNOW that you will gain some of the weight back.
I really really do believe that the 20 that i've gained back is minor as much as i'd love to be able to wear my size 6's and 8's again thats probalby not in the cards. But if i behave and do what i am suppose to right to the letter i might be able to lose 10 of that 20 and maybe wear my size 10's again.
I'm not geting rid of those unti i turn 60!!! Hey at that age they will be out of style. plus tht gives me 4 more years to work hard.
arggggggg
that acai berry juice has alot of sugar in it. people swear by it but i give you credit i can't stand the taste!

wheres your brother live cause I"m going to kick his butt for you.
I went and googled. We don't want that. ok? ok. so forget about it its not you.
My ex husband had a grandmother who had perniious anemia. She was so thin you could practically see through her. she use to have to go for transfusions.
she lived to be well in to her late 80's. And every time we got together we all heard bout how she wasn't goign to be around for long cause she had pernicious anermia that its worse than just your regular old anemia. she was proud of her pernicious anemia.
why do old people have to have the worse of anything? they are older than some of their freinds who have already passed on but they have it worse and live longer? give me the worse stuff if thts how it works.
Now my low blood sugar is not no way near as difficult as what you've gone through over the past few years. but when I wasn't feeling good my low blood sugar was the worse of anyones anything! Cause it was happening to ME!
You on the other hand are always upbeat and your always there to say somthing encouranging to us when we are down even when you'd be going through all the different things that had happened to you.
car accidents medical issues back neck even family passing and illness OMG there is so many different things!! but you always keep a good attidude and tell us something funny with your witty way. so one minute we are oh no poor connie then the next minute we are laughing our butts off. I love your stories so much.
One of my favorites was the time you had just gottne home from a hospital stay and had to jump for the floor cause of the FBI bashing through your door!
You could write a book. I'd buy it.
I've started knitting a beautiful afgan that are your colors!

Connie,
Phew! so glad it's not a bleeding ulcer. I'm also relieved that you checked out things with your surgeon on the gastro doc. My experience was scarey with the first gastro doc I saw and hated to think you'd end up on the wrong end of trouble. (small attempt at humor)
I've got my fingers crossed that they find out what the cause of the loss of blood volume and it's an easy fix. Don't you wish we could get fixed as quickly as we get broken??
Positive thoughts!
