good morning
breakfast - 3 egg whites, broccoli, cheese, onion yumm NO bread
today i was suppose to start my new thryoid medicine. i'm scare to take it. i'm allergic to so many different things. i'm afraid that i'll take it and have to go to the emergency room. the last time i went into shock so quick it was a good thing my son was here cause within 5 minutes i coudlt' talk. i have neighbors close by but it does't matter when you go into that. its scarey.
the doc assures me that i do not have toworry.
i have to take the pills one hour before i eat or 2 hours after. he prefers i take them first thing in the morning.
i was going to take it first thing this morning but got scared. i live alone except for my little animals and i don't want to have anythign happen by myself.
i have got to over come this fear.

on so tuesday will be the day! 5am i will take my pill! i will have the phone in my hand! finger posied to dial! by wednesday i will be fine with taking them its just the first day i panic.

Try and stay calm..you'll be ok...like you said keep the phone with you and everything will be alright. Youve got to take it to be well...just think positive and be by the phone.
I had a eventful morning my crayfish the escape artist did it again...got out of his aquarium....I found him about 2 or more hours later (no telling how long he was out), in my family room halfway across the house watching TV.... I tell you its spoiled...TV...food...next thing he'll be wanting a girlfriend!

I understand how you feel, but I take synthroid and have been for over 20 years and it has never brothered me. I'm allergic to pencillen, it makes me break out in hives. - phenergan , makes me not be able to breath right, codein and most all pain medicine makes me itch, Last month the doctor gave me metformin for diabetes and my heart started doing flip flops, lipitor made all my joints hurt so bad, I believe if I had kept taking it ,I would have gotten to where I couldn't walk. And the only time 2 times ( I took one and it made me sick,then 20 years later I took another one) I took the flu shot, I was out of work sick for days and my arm swelled from my shoulder to my wrist. So be careful. Medicine is a scary thing! Judy
God has given me this day to use as I will. I can waste it or use it for good. Today is very imporant, because I'm exchaning a day of my life for it.
you and i are alot alike! i'm allergic to most pain medications too. i was surprised that when i had the surgery that the morphine din'dt bother me. they sent me home with something different cause like you i can't take phenergan or codeine it didnt bother me at first but then i started with hives the 2nd day home and had to quit but the pain wasn't that bad so i didn't miss it.
i checked my epi pen and the date has expired so i've got to get a refill on that today too. geesh this week i spent 40 on the dogs med and 10 on mine i can't complain cause iknow there are too many people out there on meds ecvery single day that cost way too much money. we need healthcare reform!
