South Beach Diet

I have done so good this week on this diet!!  I can't believe how much better I feel and I have not been hungry.
What I ate today:

Turkey sausage and egg with spinach, onions, and cheese

Walnuts

Chicken and 1/2 boiled egg with 2 cups of salad with fat free salad dressing,  14 calorie Philliy Swrill frozen treat. ( very good)

Canadian Bacon and string cheese and celery sticks

200 calorie Atkins Meal Replacement Bar

Fat free fudge cycle



God has given me this day to use as I will. I can waste it or use it for good. Today is very imporant, because I'm exchaning a day of my life for it.

I wouldn't even bother with a scale cause you'll feel a difference in your clothes inno time with how good your doing,.

Judy, I am so happy for you! Unfortunately, I was able to stick to it for about 5 minutes. I'm just not doing well at all with the food. But you are quite the inspiration! Have you weighed yourself since you started? What have you lost? I LOVE the fact that you don't feel hungry - what I would give for that feeling again!! Keep going, girlfriend! You CAN do this! Maureen,  you can do this too!!  Pammy is eating kind of like I am.  I am on the Phase 1 and she is doing more like the Phase 2.
I am eating six times a day.  It seems like a lot of food, but I'm trying to eat like it says to. I got the book a couple of days ago. It says most people over eat because they go so long in between meals that they get hungry. So, I eat every time I'm supposed. I've been eating a lot of celery, and I actually am starting to like it.  In my refrigerator I have: salad mix , celery sticks, bell pepper sticks, onion slices, cooked chicken, 1% cottage cheese, low fat cheese sticks, low fat cheese slices, low fat ricotta cheese and 1% milk. . I have walnuts and almonds and olive oil, all kind of beans , slasa and tuna in my cabinet. I have sugar free popcycles and  sugar free fudge  cycles in my freezer.  This is all Charles and I are eating.
In a week I've lost 4 pounds. And I really don't get hungry. As long as I do it right by the book, I'll be okay.  But you know me, one bite of sugar and I'll go off the deep end! 
The reason I started checking into the South Beach Diet is because you said you were going to do it. So , do it with me! Okay??  Love ya, Judy

Don't you find that your not as hungry as you use to be? I find with eating the protein I'll get hungry but of course cause we're eating our snacks and meals so close together sometimes I look at the clock and say I've got to eat again??? for me I know if I don't eat even if I"m not all that hungry that I'll get sick. So I do what my doc says.
Plus I've learned that what the doc says is true! Once I miss or eat later than I'm suppose to then when I do get sick and so far I always do then it takes longer for me to get my body regulated again.
My scale is going down. Not as fantastic as you!!! Only .2 this week so far but I'm not complaining its not going up!
I do miss the sf popsicles & fuddgies god I loved them but can't touch them. the splenda sets my body into thinking its had sugar and I will get an episode. crazy huh? i lived on that stuff! now i get my sweets from good fruits. I can have greek yogurt which is an enquired taste let me tell ya. but for some reason the sugar in it doesn't effect me in fact my doc recommends it. Now i like the taste and I've found that i can put it in the freezer for a short period of time so that it freezes slushy like and it tastes almost like ice cream.
Isn't it funny how you can get use to not having things you never thought you could do without?
reenie how is it going? remember if you want that south beach diet bnook I have a copy that I can drop off to you we're inthe same area daily. I'm on vacation next week but are at work for the rest of this week. If you want to do a private message to how to get in touch with me we can work out a drop for you. You can have it I don't need it bacvk or want anything for it.
