Leg Cramps???
Hi - Marilyn mentioned that she's getting bad leg cramps - is this lately, Marilyn, something new for you or have you had this problem in the past? I'm posting about it because I'm getting debilitating cramps in my llegs, feet, and toes! My feet sometimes curl up and get all knarly when the muscles are spasming - the pain is excrutiating! Is anyone else going through this? I've never had this problem before, this is definitely new for me - started about 6 months ago. I eat lots of greens, spinach and bananas so it can't be potasium - unless I'm just not absorbing nutrients at all anymore. Just curious if others are experiencing this? M.
Mine just started!! I am on so many new scripts that I think they make me dehydrated
specially now that it is hot & today humid on top of it!! I don't drink enough water & way too much coffee. I also take potassium, but, that does not seem to help at least
last night. I will let you know if I find any answers!!

Marilyn,
I am 5 years out. at goal weight for 4 years, I have had bad leg cramps to the point that i was only getting 2 hours of sleep at a time. Potassium is not the ONLY mineral you may be lacking. I look to holistic treatments as much as i can and have found in my readings tht there is a "combination that helps with leg cramps. it is CALCIUM, MAGNESIUM , and POTASSIUM. all 3 work in unison. hope this helps

I get really nasty leg cramps, usually late at night and usually after working both jobs. Fortunately for me, I'm also on muscle relaxers for my back so when the iron grip leg cramps start, I take my night time muscle relaxers and 20 minutes later, I'm fine. Not the preferred way to deal with it, but it's the one positive in being a walking pharmacy.
