5 years ago coming home
5 years ago today i was coming home scared to death wondering what did i do to myself. i couldn't put socks on without help. i was praying my steary strips weren't going to drop off and my stomach pop open and all my guts spill out.
I was eating 30cc's of yogurt with a infant spoon took me an hour felt like i'd had thanksgiving dinner.
i was walking in my living room to do the mile a day. took me an hour to walk in a big circle over and over and over and .....you get it...
sleeping on the recliner in the living room cause i wans't ready for the stairs yet.
had to take naps every 1 to 2 hours.
my daughter stayed with me the first couple of nights in case i needed anything.
anyone remember their first days home?

Yup, & How we could eat so little & be full so quickly. Sure wish I still had that feeling!
I can eat soooo much more these days.
My meds were changed again & at least I am back to eating 3 meals a day. I was only eating vry small & usually only once a day. Can't do that with the diabetis & the sugar issues. I gained a couple of pounds, but, that will change as my body gets used to the eating healthy again. Not worried.
Happy #5 to you & all the Marchers including the ones that did not post this year.
