ITS A WONDERFUL DAY IN CONNECTICUT!

THE sun is out and I have windows open. i woke up just knowing that it was going to be a beautiful day today. the weather will be wonderful. all the white crappy snow will melt between today and tomorrow!
YEA!!!!!!!!!
i am so happy that spring is only 2 more weeks away!

Good for all of you that live in that area!! You have endured the cold stuff for long enough!! Enjoy & hope there's more to come!!

Hi Pam, I just got back from a wonderful, long trail ride on Laela with a couple of women friends and their horses - what an incredibly gorgeous morning! And all I could think about on this eve of my 5 year anniversary is how blessed I am to be fit and strong and light enough to ride this magnificent mare!  How remembering those support group meetings during the first 6 months when people would ask me, "what do you look forward to doing most," and I would say I want to ride!!! But I'm so afraid I'm going to kill the horse!! And here I am, riding almost every day, using my body like an equestrian athlete, using muscles I never knew I had!  No gigantic stomache getting in the way of anything - oh, and on a God-given goregous day like today, I feel so, so blessed... And glad that I'm alive to tell the tale because Laela spooked something awful out on the trail and there but by the grace of God... happy day, all! Maureen
