Special day yesterday....
Yesterday was such a nice day...it was my parents 50TH wedding anniversary...me and my siblings threw a big dinner party for mom and dad. It was soooo nice to see the smiles on their faces when they walked in and saw all the relatives there to celebrate thier big day! We had rented out a big room at an awesome resturant, this place is nice, look like an old money place. When they walked when we all went SURPRISE!!!! Had all my relatives including my 88 yr old grandmother(who gets around great for being soo old), and alot of other relatives and old friends of theirs...it was such a nice day.
On another note...boy did I do a good deed this weekend...I was in Ross department store Friday evening looking around at all the junk like usual ( I like that place it like a flea market to me), anyway as I was looking around and on this shelf with alot of junk I saw this bag...I opened it up and WOW...loaded with a ton of money...I mean alot of money....not giving it a second thought I took it to the manager...it was the stores day deposit I would imagine, cause it was loaded...just laying there...anyway I turned it in...and you would of thought they would of been elated that it was turned in and not stolened by someone...they just said thanks ...like it wasnt a big deal...anyway I feel better that I did what was right, but thinking back boy it would of paid a few bills LOL
Ok 2 good things this weekend...done....so today maybe I can be a bad girl LOL...just kidding.

Kim you did a wonderful thing. They shoudl have celebrated havin gyou be the one who found that money! sometimes it just amazes me how businesses will just expect you to do the right thing! in this day and age with the economy so bad well i don't now if i woudl have turned it in!

now if someone had dropped a 10 on the door way on the way out and it was just laying there with no one around i'd pick it up and say thank you! but a bag of it. yea gotta try to find out who's it is.

Isnt it funny $10 Ide be all over it with a big smile on my face and not think twice either...but this time Ide of been loaded and not a single thought about keeping it crossed my mind...at least not a thought until I was in the car with husband and I said maaaaan I sure could of used all that money LOL ...oh well I'll just have to keep thinkng good things happen to those who do good things....eventually....

wow...tempting temting. You did good! I would've done the same. The thoughts would've crossed my mind how I needed the money & such, but I would've felt bad one and second I would've been afraid to walk out of the store with that much money, it would've felt like stealing to me even though it really isn't. That store should've really been more thankful! But what can you do. Glad you had a nice day with your parents. Sounds like a great day! 50 yrs! Wow! That really is something to celebrate for sure.
