Day #3, 4, 5 & 6 !!!

I've been so busy , I just have not taken the time to post, so here goes:

Special K cereal and 1% Milk every morning

1 Atkins protien bar everyday

2 oz.(lunch) or 5 oz. tuna or  5 oz chicken (supper) and 1 cup cooked veggeis or 2 cups raw veggies everyday

15 almonds everyday

1 sugar/fat free yogurt or 1/2 cup cottage cheese with fruit every day

1 fruit every day

I have really tried hard this week, because I had blood test last week and I knew my sugar was going to be high. The nurse called me Friday and the doctor has put me on two more diabetes pills (Metformin HCL) plus I already take actos. And she put me on a zocor.
I know this is very serious. I have got to do this!!

God has given me this day to use as I will. I can waste it or use it for good. Today is very imporant, because I'm exchaning a day of my life for it.

Oh wow! You are doing great Judy! Hang in there :)  Almonds... I have to make sure I pick up some almonds. They always help curb my appetite. They have that little bit of sweetness to them.  Way to go!!!
