A HUGE PLEA!!
First of all, I've tried emailing Marilyn a couple of times (off board) and no luck - I am worried sick about her. Does anyone know how to get in touch with her?
Tomorrow starts a new week - I am really asking for a couple of buddies to work our programs together - the Buddy System - starting tomorrow. I know we've tried this before but where I'm at is this: I simply have to get off 10 lbs. before my 5 year anniversary. I feel really lousy carrying this extra weight - will anyone do this with me? All you have to do is this: just commit to eating three healthy meals per day (Monday-Friday) in moderate portions; two healthy snack choices; and commit to adding some form of exercise to your day - whatever that is for you, doesn't have to be anything except moving your body for 1/2 hour, whatever you choose. Then we check in with each other at the end of the day, we share what we ate (have to be totally honest!) and what we did for exercise. Starting tomorrow - let me know. I'm doing it even if I have to go it alone - but sure would love some company on this journey! Love you guys -

I'm in. I'm in, I'm in, I'm in. I may not be able to post at the end of every day because there are days that I work 14 hours between both jobs, but I'll do my best. Ok yea, I'll be gone for 5 days in February, but I'll let you know how the 5 days went when I get back. And I'll do my best on the eating, but can't promise 3 meals and two snacks due to the 14 hour work day thing, but I'll do what works best for me. And oh yea, that 14 hour day thing... might not get exercize in every day..
So other than not being able to promise on the food, exercize, posting daily and being gone part of the time, I'm totally in. lol Promise, Reenie, I'll do my best.
As for Marilyn, I think she said something about coming back to Arizona. I'm hoping that all is well with her.

Im in I know I havent been around forever but I've come back because I'm going through so much I've gained 10 pounds I need to loose, I'm up to 146 and I refuse to gain anymore!!
I was a flight attendant for a year, got laid off and have been looking for work since July 08 feeling like a failure gaining weight eating stuff that I shouldnt I need support from my marchers

Hi there - I remember you (but don't remember your name - do tell!) ... you're not alone and you've come to the right place. So many people this far out of surgery are feeling what you're feeling so don't despair. We can turn this around. I saw 160 for the first time this a.m. and I am simply terrified. Let's check in tonight and see how we did today, ok? I'm off the gym to honor my commitment of power walking 2 miles. Hope to hear from you later.

Look at you and your new pic! You look beautiful! :) I'm in but will be doing the protein for Breakfast and lunch and a sensible dinner route. I've been eating eggs and bacon for breakfast and thats just a no can do anymore thing. I totally stopped loosing. I haven't been drinking my protein lately and that always stops me from loosing no matter how I look at it. hoping to start tomorrow with my protein.

I've gained, I'm still a six 6(well sometimes it's mostly 8 now) but I have sworn that I will not go into the double digit clothes sizes so I need to do something, when I was flying my uniform was a size 4 but now that I am depressed(40mgs of Paxil) and not flying and not running through airports all day long and just sitting i've gained, I kept my weight around 130-133 when I was flying so i've gained 16 pounds since I was laid off and thats scary!

Of course, Nicole - hi again Nicole! Ok, so now we have FOUR - four of us are doing' the Buddy System! I just don't want to put my head in the sand about this ... I've got to deal with what's happening and get the help I need. For me, that's always started here, with this Board. So now we have: Maureen, Connie, Nicole, and Elizabeth. All we have to do in this beginning stage is: commit to making healthy food choices TODAY; and commit to doing something that moves our bodies for 1/2 hour TODAY. Just TODAY. That's all we have to do - and of course, all are welcome in this! Maureen

I remember you. Its sooo hard when your feeling down and out. Thats the worst! Once you get into that funk its so hard to pull out of it. I have alot to loose and need to really watch. So this is a must do for me. Hang in there Nicole and its awesome to see you! You look great in your pic! :)
Reenie...you are sooo right about the sizzly fat strip. LOL! and the little sausage fatty. LOL!!!! yep. they are bad. I try to do the turkey patty. So tomorrow. It's off the menu!!! Well, I may have one sausage low fat turkey patty to go with my protein shake. LOL... its pretty tasty and healthy. I need to keep eating protein like that that isn't high in fat. I can't do the bread, even if its whole grain. I am noticing more and more some gurgling in my belly when i ingest breads and pastas. There is something to it there. I never felt better than when I had omitted all sugar and carbs (Breads and pastas) from my diet. Never had bad tummy aches and never broke out and just felt better. Of course I was also careful about the fat.
