Hello Marchers!
I'm sorry I have been away so much. I haven't the time to day to fully catch up, but it looks like we have humor, frustration, grieving and rancor here. All pretty much parts of normal life except the rancor part. I did not dig to find the origins, nor do I care. The bottom line is that we are women and we get a bit emotional from time to time. But we are sisters, in a more real sense than most of us who have biological sisters. So, starting today, let's each decide to give each other (and the board as a whole) the gift of forgiveness and a new start. Whatever hurt feelings we may have is not worth damaging this community that we love, so let's start by dumping the guilt and the hurt feelings and remembering the great journey we have been on.
I love each of you. I owe each of you a big debt for the support you have given and continue to give me. I am busy living life. I have my own share of personal hurts (I lost my furbaby in Sept too), and frustration (I'm trying in vain to housebreak a new puppy!). I weigh more than I should, but not nearly what I once did. I love my husband and kids and grandkids, and they drive me crazy. I love being retired, but I'm broke. Is my cup half empty or half full? I tell you, it is RUNNING OVER! The sun is shining, and I have today to do with as I see fit.
May God bless each of you!

Hi Joy!
So nice to see you. I'm sorry about your furbaby. ((hugs)). I agree with everything you said and ditto and we love you too! Its always best to count our blessings when we are down and out. Because no matter what, things can always be worse. I try to thank God especially on those down days and pray for help.
"When you are down to nothing, God is up to Something, I just wish I knew what is was!"
Love that quote.
((hugs!!))

Joooooyyyyyyyyyy!!! It's so good to hear from you! You have such a great perspective on LIFE, I love the "RUNNING OVER" section of your post; ya know, I think I feel exactly the same way (about loss and renewal, weight, husband, kids, job), I just never thought about it all this way - love it! And love you! Please don't be a stranger, stick around and join us all as we move closer and closer toward our FIFTH ANNIVERSARY!
Peace to you babydoll - Maureen

Every time I'm around a dog, I just go nuts over it, can't stop petting it or cooing at it, lots of whispers in floppy ears. My heart says 'get another dog' but my brain says I can't...just can't. Let's all just imagine our beloved canines up their in Romp Heaven having the time of their celestial lives with each other. My Sophie is probably talking the fleas off of all your fur-babies! Oh, the conversations we used to have together ... in doggie talk! Love you guys, Maureen
