Dear Connie, Kim, and all other interested parties
To Connie, I say I'm sorry you didn't get much of a response to your obviously heartfelt post. To Kim, I say (again) thank you for the shining light that you are. To everyone else who is interested in the longevity of our beloved Board I say this: I am supposing because of your silence that many of you are uncomfortable, bothered, upset, disengaged ... whatever you want to call it - and if I'm wrong, that's great, I hope so - but if not, it leaves me with one of two options: (1) I can stay active on the Board and post when I need to, for myself and for anyone else who is interested in what I have to share (which doesn't feel like there's much of that interest these days); or (2) I can remove myself and wish everyone my heartfelt love and best wishes. I don't want anyone upset, but I can't change people - I can only change how I respond to them. So I am asking - in the spirit of the beautiful history we all have shared together for the past five years, in the spirit of the wonderful and caring friendships we have cultivated, to please help me make this decision. Your silence will speak louder than any words - if there is no response to this post, I will take my cue and bow out - but if you have anything to say to me, good, bad or indifferent, please let me know. I can't say it enough: I only have everyone's best interest at heart. Thanks so much. Maureen
