Happy Holidays with family & Paulie the wonder bird
I have survived the Holidays with my famiy!
My mother kept trying to get Paulie the wonder bird to say Merry Christmas for the past 4 days.
Paulie wasn't talking. All the comotion of the holidays had him very quiet. He would sit and stare at the lights on the tree and hide in the darkest corner of his big cage when everyone was here. H'ed peek out now and then and whistle but that was the only noise he made and it was rare.
The this morning my sister was in my kitchen, I was in the bathroom dressing and my mother was at the table trying one more time to get Paulie to say Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas she'd say
Paulie say Merry Christmas.
One last time she looked at him and said MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Paulie ****s his head looks her in the eye and said "you coo coo"
My sister and I could not stop laughing.

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
