a bit late
with my happy thanksgiving wishes but none the less here they are!
I hope this holiday season brings you peace and joy in what ever form you need it the most.
We did ok with the day, I was great until that day.... THEN... EVIL...I whipped my family into cleaning machines and we cleaned the house from about 9:30 til we left for my sister's house at 1:30...
Friday I did a little shopping both kids needed new winter coats.
Saturday I was really weepy and just struggled all day long, by Sunday, I wasn't even going to go to church but my son was playing his clarinet as a solo and he asked me why I wasn't dressed.SO I went and he did a great job and I was glad I went but I came home and went to bed... I was in bed at 2 pm and didn't get up again til Monday morning at 6...
basically that has been my coping mechanism...deal til you are exhausted and them sleep...

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

so Sorry to hear you are feeling so down. My heart goes out to you. It has to be sooo hard! I can't imagine. Don't want to imagine! I'm sure your mom would want you to be happy though, and be happy for your kids. She's in a wonderful place and smiling down on you probably trying to tell you to get your butt up!
I know my mom would. I can't imagine when that day comes. It will be so hard to deal with. Hold onto your kids for strength and try to take comfort in knowing that we dont die, we move on and our loved ones are still with us, we just can't see them, but they can definitely see and hear us. ((BIG HUGS NIC!!!)) and lots of love!
