what do you think of my pretty red Christmas dress???????

Cute dress, but I miss your face.  December arrived awfully fast.  My Christmas shopping is done, but I'm nowhere near ready for Christmas.  I have a party for my staff here at the house next Friday and the house is still torn apart.  No doors on the cabinets, backsplash still isn't tiled and there are enough dust bunnies to have my own Easter parade.  Once next Friday is over and done, I should be able to relax until the end of December... yeah, right.

I know though can you believe it...almost Christmas time. Ive got all my shopping done just need to get two more things for my daughter then Im done. First time in my life ever that I have been this close to being done so soon!! Now the decorating time ARGGGG...but looks so nice when Im finished. 

Hi Margo, your bear is very pretty, did you make that dress? I so envy crafty people - I can't even thread a needle. Will be leaving for Florida tomorrow to be with Dad as he celebrates his 80th birthday - well, celebrates is a bit of a stretch, every year another birthday happens, he curses it - he so wants out of this life! I dread going, and yet I love him with all my heart. At least it will be warm ... otherwise, chewing my fingernails about the economy and job security in our house - my husband teaches music at an inner city elementary school in Hartford - three teachers (two of them music teachers, one a classroom teacher) were told yesterday that their positions were being eliminated; the budget was not going to be funded as planned. I just don't know what we'll do if we both lose our jobs ... just like everyone else these days. Hope everyone is ok. M.
