ok- the holiday is past and i pray that it was good for all of our marchers...

what are your plans for the rest of the weekend???

we have been freecycling and i must say there are some wonderful folks out there!

i just spent a few hours re-lighting a huge wreath that our neighbor gave us a few winters ago-and then made a bow- michael has it hung on the peak of our house and it looks great!!! i need to attack some boxes in the basement to try to find the velvet bows for my lighted sawg for the front fence--it is chilly out but sunny and today would probly be the day to put the lights if i am going to! last year we didn't decorate at all.....

have been in geneaology land again and found Revolutionary War Ptariot # 13 and # 14 !!!! it is exciting to me to read about these folks and what their lives were like as well as their contributions to our country!!!

we have done everything in our power to stay out of the stores this weekend....

what are your plans?????????????????????/

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

I have been trying to stay off of my foot to see if it would be better when I go back to work next week. My daughter in law cooked dinner Thursday. So I've not been out much.
My sister and her husband have gone on a trip . they left yesterday and are coming back next Friday. I'm keeping her "childen"  a dog , a cat , and a sugar glider. Have you ever heard of a sugar glider?  This thing is new to Georgia. She's had it a little over a week. It weighs 3 oz. It's between a flying squirl, a rat and a bat!!  She has been keeping her in a bird cage, but she's figured how to get out.  Today my husband opened the bathroom door and she was running around , she climbed the shower curtain and jumped from there over to a house plant I have in there. He tried to catch her and she ran up his arm and across his back and jumped over to the shower curtain again! He is not an animal person and he said we're going to get a cage this thing can't  get out of. So we drove 40 miles and got a cage for a rat.  So far she can't get out of it.  It's going to be a long week.
He just ask me what I was writing and I told I was writing one of my friends on Obesity Help and he said did I tell you we had eaten like pigs this week?  I told him I would, but we are going to do better. He's 6'4" and he's not really fat. If I was a foot taller I wouldn't be fat!!
I have not done any decorating for Christmas yet, it has rained here all day today, so I guess I'll do it next week. I'm not going to do much.
Have a good day.   Judy

God has given me this day to use as I will. I can waste it or use it for good. Today is very imporant, because I'm exchaning a day of my life for it.

We left early Thursday morning to drive to NC to spend the holiday with friends.  Had a wonderful dinner, though Iwas starving when we go there about 1:30 and they had some snacks (mostly healthy) out and of course by the time we sat down to dinner at 2:30 I had no appetite for dinner.   I took a little bit, but didn't eat it all.

We spent Friday at Lowes Motor Speedway in Concord NC, shopping the sovenier blow out sale and driving my truck on the track.   Did make a stop in a super Walmart late in the afternoon because it was there and I needed to restock my instant drink 'sticks' (crystal light, ocean spray and wally world store brand).

Got up this morning, had one stop to make before we hit the road and sarted home about 10:45.   We got back to town in time to meet friends for dinner at 6 without stopping by the house first.  Finally got home about 8 p.m.

Tomorrow, my plan is to be LAZY!   sleep in and do absolutely nothing .. not sure that will happen but it's a plan.

Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Happy Saturday alittle late....I love geneaology, when or if I can find the paper work I have Ill share with you some info, I have on my EX's side a family member who was one of the original thirteen minute men its good reading material, very interesting. I tracked my family on my dads side way back to the time they came over on ships and even before then, really cool stuff. I even had my dad dig up some old slave papers he had put away, stuff is amazing.
