the craziness which is my life....

I know it's been a while.  Things are rather hectic, to say the least.  Getting ready for the  Christmas/Chanukah holidays and all the logistics of the travel arrangements of my kids is somewhat daunting.  Son is in Atlanta, his girlfriend is in Florida, daughter's boyfriend is in Las Vegas---I don't know if I'm going to spend more time at the airport or in the kitchen.  Son's girlfriend is allergic to cats so they have to get a hotel.  Driving to Philly to pick up  my mother.  Not to mention the shopping that needs to be done.  And lets not forget work.  Maybe if they added a few more hours to the day I could get everything done.....that is if I wasn't so exhausted.  Thank goodness for my man...he is with me every step of the way helping out.  He's just the best.

I'm still alive and breathing.....somedays I'm hungry and some days I'm not.  Don't know what the rhyme or reason is with that.  Weight is stable.  I still want to lose about 10 pounds.  I am still hitting the gym 3 times a week...there is no option with that no matter how busy I get.

Hope everyone is well and enjoys their Thanksgiving!

Hi Joanie,

WOW! You are a busy bee!!!  With all the stress that comes with it its good it didn't affect your eating. Thats great, but the exercise helps keep that in check. I did a little myself this weekend. I need to do it every single day or at LEAST 3 times a week. It really is a major component to loosing and keeping the weight off, your so right in that there is no way around it.  Hang in there!!! at least your DH is helping you out. Thats always a bonus!

((( Joanie )))

Be sure to fit some 'Joanie-time' in there too!

Have a happy holiday.

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!
