Hi all, I know I have been AWOL

Hey folks, I wish I could tell you that I had some incredible reason that I have been absent.  But I should come back more often.  I'm doing fine.  I have been remodeling our house and recently installed 350 sq feet or tile in the kitchen and dining room.  That is after I took out a couple of walls and redid my oldest daughters room.  On top of that, we have had two deputies hurt in motorcycle crashes, and lost one to another department and recently had an deputy involved shooting.  So what that all means is lots of work for those of us still capable of working. 

I don't have time to read everything now, but I hope all of you are doing ok.  Thanks for thinking of me and I'll try to get back here quicker at some point.

So sorry to hear about your deputies. Hope they are pulling through ok. Sending prayers. I lost my cousin in a morotocycle accident. He was like my brother. We were near the same age. Its soooo dangerous being on a bike. I wish more motorists were conscious of how far away they need to stay away from a bike and be more careful and be more attentive at the wheel. Prayers are with them and all of you officers. You have my utmost respect.

You've been busy! My husband is a tile guy. Those tearouts and installations are hard work!  But so worth it in the end when its a job well done   We're all hanging in there. One day at a time. Living life as it comes. So glad to see you pop in! Stop in a little more often just to say hi and let us know your doing well!

Hi Ken, it sure is good to see you again. Prayers sent to your friends and their families. Are you still keeping up with your physical routines? I know that you were really involved with fitness, you really inspired me with your stories - would love to hear how you're doing with all that at this stage of the game because I've certainly lost my edge; just not nearly as motivated with fitness as I used to be.
