Gosh I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Excited!!!!! I remember when the Philies won the world series when I was little. I was asleep at my Grandmothers house. I remember her in her long old fashioned night gown tucking me in next to her to go to sleep. The Phillies had won the world series. It was dark and cool in the bedroom. Then we stared hearing everyone beating their pots and pans outisde in celebration. People came out of their houses yelling and whooping and hollering that the Phillies had won the world series. I remember rushing out of bed and running to the window and looking outside. I saw a car with a group of people in it yelling and hollering and cheering. I think I remember my grandmother telling me they were drunk. LOL> It was one of the oldest memories I have of my grandmother when her and my grandfather were alive and living in a house together. It ALWAYS stuck with me that memory. It was such a good and exciting one. I just hope and pray that they win the world series so I can share a similar memory with my 10 yr old son!
