I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

I am still in paid with my back & can't seem to get any help with that because of the money problems & on & On & On.
So since I don't have much to say in a positive mode I will just be gone for a ffew weeks & see what I can recover of my Life.
I don't want to be living with my Mother as I love her dearly, just feel that I am more

Thanks & I will come back just down the road a piece.

Hi Marilyn,
I'm so sorry to hear you are going through so much. I missed your most recent post only because I don't check it much on the weekend. I'm normally at work when I check in. Me being on here tonight is kindof a fluke for me. It's so hard living with mom. I know Me and my mom argue so much when we are around each other too much. It can be stressful. I'm also constantly send you prayers hoping something comes along that will help you with your medical bills. I hate that you can't get insurance. It is such a big issue to me. Keep on exercising you are doing so well with that! It will help with the depression. Don't shy away because you are afriad of posting negative things. This is a SUPPORT board and we are here to support you Marilyn!!! Hang in there honey! Take a nice breather. Take some nice walks and set some time for yourself to regroup. But make sure you come back!!!! I'll miss you!!!! ((hugs!!))

We talked via private e-mail last night so you know how badly I feel about your cir****tances. I've been thinking about you all day. Couple of thoughts...
Found a site that might have some resources or you.

They seem to have resources for everything from mental health to employment. Click through the site and see if there is anything of interest.
Anyway, the other thing was a job. If you were going to lose your job, this is actually the best time of the year for that to happen. I know that sounds stupid, but because it's the holiday season, stores are hiring. When I started looking for a 2nd job, everyone told me that I needed to fill out applications on line. I did that for a couple of days and figured that wasn't going to work. Especially for me because I had no retail experience and what I did have going for me (24 years of customer service, but no retail) wasn't going to come through in an online application. I printed up my resume and hit the pavement. I picked the three places that I most wanted to work at and headed for the first one. I walked in, asked for the manager and took a deep breath. When the manager came up, I stuck out my hand and said, "Hello, my name is Constance. I have no retail experience, but I have 24 years of excellent customer service and I'd like to tell you why I think I'm a good fit for your store." I walked out the door with a job.
Marilyn, you have a lot more going for you than I did. You can do this.
Hang in there and stay in touch when you're ready.
Hugs and lots of love,
Connie
