Back to work

I had a wonderful day yesterday even though it was expensive.

the car went in for brakes but they were not able to do them cause they had to order the pads. NO one had pads for my little PT Cruiser I LOVE that car. so next week I get to do yesterday all over again! Gotta have brakes - I have the time to use or I lose it - soooooo I'm sooooo very sad (HA!) that Ihave to do yesterday over again next wednesday!!!!! HA! NOT! I can't wait til next week!

I got my little car back after 1 and went to walmart to pick up the new vacumn that I broke this past weekend. Decided to get an oil change too then talked to them about new tires.  wondered around the store picking up little things I needed. Lets say that by the time I got out of there its a good thing that the brakes are being done next week casue whew I'm broke til then! Just doing my part to jump start the failing economy!

They were things I needed to get done and I'd prepared for them. When you drive all day for work your car has to be taken care of. Poor baby needed those tires badly. When it rains I was alittle concerned about stopping! The brakes need to be done but my car doctor said they are good for a couple more months. I just want to get them done this month while I have the money before the oil tank needs a feeding which will happen next month.

Lord there is never enough money.

I'm one of those people you hear about daily who has a viariable morgage that will be changing rates wise in january. I'm working with the morgage company to close next month for a fixed rate. my credit score has gone up in the past 6 months all to paying my morgage and car payment on time and finally paying off the last 3k from the surgery almost 5 years ago! That is another big stress offf my shoulders. My nightmare at this point is this viariable morgage. i will be glad when this is done.

all in all a great day that makes me able to get up this morning and go into work feeling refreshed.

i hear ya on the mortgage thing--the ONLy thing that has saved us from losing our house is the fixed rate we got in 2004...otherwise i fear we would have bitten the dust between michael's illness and his fall at work....

i'm looking for owrk again- still at my job but hours cut back to 20 per week and i cannot survive this way...and ou credit scores took serious dives-again between his illness and his fall......it just makes me sick ....and teh constant pressure of it is cauisng me to age terribly.....

ah well- sorry you have to go back to work --glad you enjoyed your day--too bad (NOT!) that you have to do it again next week!!!

I feel for you on that variable rate...hope you can get it taken care of ok....in my area so many house are going into forclosure...right near my house not even a mile away, they have these new 500,000 dollars houses and I say half of the people who brought them last year have lost them already ...I tell you sometimes I wish I had the extra deposit money to bid on one, they are gorgeous, but then again Im not getting in over my head. It just a shame to see all the people loosing their houses, the builder in that neighborhood even has stopped building cause they just arent selling with this crazy economy. Anyway Im rambling here.....cool beans on being off again next week!!!!! Sounds like you had a pretty nice day and you get to do it again....ENJOY IT!!!!!!

yikes! i hope he mortgage works out for you. this darn econom!. all we can do is pray pray pray. You know... every time i go to wal mart i have something VERY SPECIFIC in mind that i want to get... usually baby diapers formula and detergent. THATS IT. but it never ever is. NOPE.   i ALWAYS spend WAY too much money in there. money i dont have. 'sigh' things just have to get better. God Willing!    im liking this little smiley he's so pleasant :)
