Where are y'all?? I need some encouragement!!  I only lost 1 pound this week and I thought I should have lost more! I wanted to lose 5!!  Actually my challenge to myself  was just to not gain back what I had lost last week and to move more, well I've done that. So, next week my challenge is to lose at least 2 pounds and get to moving more.  Hope you're all safe and not having to much trouble from "Ike". Judy

God has given me this day to use as I will. I can waste it or use it for good. Today is very imporant, because I'm exchaning a day of my life for it.

one pound is awesome!!!YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!

I am getting my head around the idea that yes 4 years ago I lost weight QUICKLY!!! I am not built like THAT anymore...
I am thrilled with a 1 pound loss a week my goal is 2 pounds but THAT requires a TON of work on my part and this crappy head cold has made breathing my biggest hobby this week @@

I got back into some size 12 pants today so it was all good!

YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!
Have you noticed any inches of loss rather than the scale???YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!

I love that we are able to support each other...YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!

Hey Nic,

Any news on the medical front?  When I was in the hospital with pnuemonia, they were monitoring my BP constantly and taking labs every couple of hours.  Now mind you I had a lung infection, but my BP went own as low as 80/40 at times and my blood sugar was all over the place every time they drew blood.  The mor I think about it, the more I'm convinced that we have hypoglycemic issues.

As crazy tired as I have been, I'm still trying to remodel my kitchen bit by bit.  It is taking me months, but I'm at the point where I'm painting cabinets.  That's a really easy task for me so I come home after work, eat something, turn on the tv in the kitchen and leisurely paint a cabinet.  3 or 4 nights last week I had to sit down with a spinning head and things going in and out of focus.  When I looked back on what I ate before the head spins, every time it was bagel chips.  High carb crap.  I keep thinking your culprit was that bowl of oatmeal.

Hugs,
Connie

And congratulations on that size 12.  I'm determined not to look like a sausage in my 12s.

Judy,
I think one pound is tremendous.  I think our days of losing 5 pounds a week are over, unless we're doing the pouch test or something like that.  Keep doing what you're doing because whether you think so or not, you're being successful.

Hugs,
Conne
