hey ya!
well I saw the endo yesterday and it was crap-tastic...
they told me to be there 1/2 hour early because I had to fill out quite a bit of paperwork, but they had sent me the paper work so all they had t odo was copy my insurance card....

so my appointment time came and went...40 minutes later I was taken into a room then moved to another room, then another...
the nurse asked me if I had any bloodwork results with me...NO...don't YOU have them....????
oh I will call them and get them to fax it too us...
it was now 4:40 on Friday ...
the doctor came in and said ya know it would be helpful if you have some bloodwork done...
I DID... none of it got sent to him, now it was after 5 on friday and NO ONE was anywhere to fax it to them,

he wants me to do a glucose/insulin level 3 hour test...he gave me the meal schedule... 150g of carbs a day for 3 days....you won't need to check anything that would kill me@@
so I am going to do it a different way...

he then read thru my file and noticed the WLS...@@

he is an odd bird and I am PISSED that none of my bloodwork showed up so of course he ordered new tests...
it all should be scheduled next week,
he does seem to think it could very well be related to the wls and hypoglycemia...he has 3 patients that are post-op and one who has hyperreactive hypo glycemia so I then LOVED him and he really is a nice guy but the whole damn day was such an emotional roller coaster I was so nervous and then to hear basically NOTHING again.....nearly made me crazy.

I got an fat free iced mocha from mcdonalds on the way home and drank some of it. it was sweet but actually not bad, if you are like me and would mainline that kind of drink
and tons cheaper than starbucks (even better since I don't drink the whole thingLOL)

ok well that is the newest and latest news on my health...@@
STILL a MYSTERY OF MODERN SCIENCE!!!! :)

I love the line, "he does seem to think it could very well be related to the wls..." After all this time, all these tests --- DAH!!! Geez, ah this is frustrating for ME, I can't imagine how you and your family must be feeling!!! Keep us posted, dear one.

I hate that when a doctor does not read the d0#2med file. Uh hello???? Weight loss surgery?? wanna maybe READ THE DARN FILE FIRST??? yeeshh... my doctor did that to me one day it just really ticked me off to the bone because she suggested "Why don't you think about having weight loss surgery?" oh. nice. Thanks. Now I really feel like a looser. I was like yeah... i did have it lost a little over 100 pounds. She goes OH! AND YOU GAINED IT ALL BACK??? No looser why don't you read the d#$mned file and before you REALLY make a bad mistake and kill someone because you prescribed the wrong medication because you didnt read their files. Ok. Just going out on a tangent but its ridiculous. READ People! sheesh. I was like uuuhh.. No. I didn't gain it all back I was over 300 pounds. "Oh." she said why not try weigh****cher or somethign else or blah blah blah... yep. Got it. Will do. 'sigh'. by that time I was just ready to go and humiliated. I was done with her that day. Just give me my meds and i'm off. Maybe another day when you learn how to read. Doctors.
