Check in & protein question
Just a check in. So I weighed myself this morning and am down 2 pounds. So the total down is 10. I haven't really been "trying" per se. I guess I've just been trying to cut back on everything really. I think this is because I have been more careful at work and when I get home and cook dinner, when it comes time to actually eat my dinner my appetite disolves. I eat a very small portion and then im done. Then later - which this is bad - i have a snack. I had a few oreo cookies lately. But I guess since the dinners have been minimal to none, it somehow compensated and worked out without hindering my weight loss. Anyways... 2 pounds down is good news for me. Gives me the incentive to keep on going. The oreos are now gone, but I fear there will be more in the future since the boy and the husband are begging for more and I'm going to walmart today. as long as I am very careful and only have like 3 and only like twice a week i should be alright. still cutting out the breads and pasta though. My lunches have been very nutritious which is why i think i haven't been eating dinner. They are like a dinner. Salmon stirfry - no pasta- just veggies and salmon and pesto with a sprinkle of cheese. i LOVE it. Best thing about our cafeteria at work. :) anyway, just thought i'd share. I have to get some protein powder... anyone suggest what the best tasting ones are? I can't remember its been a long time since i got the powder and dont remember the last brand i had. Which is a shame because it was really good.

I am still here & the Body fortress at Walmart is O.K stuff, but, they recently changed it from what I was getting before. It has more protein in it & they are making it for Body builders, so
don't really no if they changed the taste or not. It isn't a bad price but it now has 40+ grms of protein & that supposedly it too much for us to obsorb at one time. so maybe
cut down on the amount you put in a shake. HOpe this helps somewhat.
I still like champion whey stack, but, you have to get it on-line & with shipping can get expensive. No one carries it here in San Diego.
I am doing better, but, my head is still confused.

so glad you are still here! :) :) :) Thanks for the brands. I'm going to walmart so I'll check to see what they have. I just can't remember its been so long. I'm praying that I keep loosing. Its so sad when I don't. Depressing. You hang in there. I'm sure its very hard. Maybe scan around the internet and strike up some friendships with some fellows. That should help some, take your mind off things a little. Start slow and easy, dont' try to overanalyze things too much. I'm one of thsose types. I stew and stew and stew about things when they bother me driving myself nuts instead of finding somethign to distract my thoughts. Hang in there!!! I'm here for you! ((HUGS!!!)))
