Day 3 Question
Day 3 is soft protein day. I made some tuna salad in advance and didn't even taste it. What else did you guys eat on day 3? I'm figuring tuna salad and scrambled eggs with cheese, but what else? I've got some imitation crab flakes. Does that qualify as a soft protein?
Day 2 is a little harder than day one in that I'm hungrier, but hanging in there. I'm going to turn green if I eat any more cream of broccoli soup so I think I'll have some bean soup for dinner.
I've cut way back on the caffeine over the last couple of days, but have had a nagging low-level headache today so a mocha protein shake with instant expresso is calling my name.
I've died and gone to heaven...
Made a shake with a scoop if chocolate protein powder, a little sugar-free caramel syrup, 2 teaspoons of expresso powder, single serving cup of sugar-free chocolate pudding, ice and a few ounces of skim milk. I'm going to be up all damned night, but it was so worth it. I think this may become a breakfast staple.

Connie...I tried that tuna cake thing..it was very easy to make and very fulling...I used a can of drain tuna fish, Tbsp mayo, 1 egg,TSP italian breadcrumbs and about 3 tbsp of sprinkled parmasan cheese..and alittle oldbay seasoning,mix it all together, made like hamburger patties , used a tsp of olive oil and fried them...then added a tiny piece 1/4 piece of cheese...on top to melt and it was really good, it made four of them...I ate one of those and a hard boiled egg with salt and pepper in a sitting, then had another one of those later on....I was stuffed and satisfied...basically I lived off of that day 3 ...that and pudding,jello and my protein drinks. And I know what you mean day 2 stinks, that was my worst day...get through today then its smooth sailing. Good-Luck!

when I make the tuna I use ground flax seed but I like that "nutty" taste.

Day 3 and I'm down 6 pounds. Mind you, I think 5.5 pounds of that is probaby jettied waste material, but down I am. The pouch has def changed because I can only eat 1/2 the volume that I could before. By the end of the second day, I could only eat 1/2 a cup of creamed soup instead of a whole cup. I was very uncomfortable with 1/2 a cup of tuna so not going to try that again. Just out f habit, I threw 1/2 a cup of tuna salad in a bowl and mindlessly polished it off, even though my tummy was not happy with the last 1/2 of it. I'll pay better attention at my next meal.
Goodmorning...hey Connie thats great!!!!5.5 WOOHOOOO!!! Isnt it weird how your beginning to fill up again more quickly? You and I seem to have run about the same time frame for that...in the afternoon of my second day I too could also only eat half my soup...weird but good. Today Im into my 6th day and Im seem to be doing just fine as for staying on track. I even had to go out to eat last night with Hubby,brother and newphew to my all time favorite chineese buffet resturant...I did good,....had a few crab legs, some crawdads and a few green beans and I was set...and surprising I even kept on track as to not drink with my meal. Now before this I would have pounded that place...usually everyone waits on me to finish eating my crabs LOL but not this time .....I got on the scale last night before bed it said my grand total was 9.5 lbs lost in 5 days!!! Keep up the GOOD WORK, your doing GREAT!!!!!!!!!
my 2nd day was the worst but now its like so easy.
i went shopping with my size O daughter today and didnt' even want one of the donut holes she ate!
diet sf jello is what has helped me. when i read that we can eat as much of it as we want I took that to heart and went out and bought a ton of the stuff. i was eating that thing morning noon an night. at 10 cal a pop id have had to eat 10 of them just to make 100 cals and i dint' eat that many a day. maybe 4 but the key was that it helped me. the pudding i didn't do cause i love it too much and it has more cals in it than the diet jello.

you know what has happened to me? the protein has taken over my colon so now i'm not going every day!!! yikes! back to the protein consitpation issue. oooooo where are the prunes???
