Ok so it was a long 5 days but I made it through. I lost alittle bit of weight and am very pleased with that! i think i would have lost more if I'd done this completely but again am very pleased. I'm also thrilled with how i've been eating. i like what i eat now and feel good. I'm not missy those carbs that i ate every single day like my pretzels. i can even walk past them in the market without reaching or drooling! I'm loving my water again! Still haven't reached 64 oz but I am hovering at 40 something. What I've saved in the cost of pretzels I've used up in toilet paper but oh well it all works out in the end! Jello!!!!! Who knew I could get such enjoyment from jello? I've always loved it but didt' make time for it. It is giving me that sweetness that I love at not alot of calories and my nails! wow I've rediscoved the wonderful taste of ice. I didn't crave it at all so I dont' think I"m lacking anything there. I just put some in my shake one morning and said hey this is good! This week I'm going to continue with what i've done along with adding some more foods like a fruit a day and some salad. I know the pouch now works and I think thats what we were all trying for. If I stay away from what they called the slider foods and stick with my protein I'm feeling fuller longer. I'm able to stick to what I should eat and then now and then add something extra cause I'm such a good girl. still staying away from the devil cookies! how did everyone else do?

I'm only past day 1, but so far, so good. Halfway through the tough part. I think what helped me was to eat before I got ravenous. I ate thick pureed bean and pea soups and didn't need more than 1 cup to fill me up. I woke up hungry about 1:00 am, but ate a cup of sugar free pudding and went back to bed. Somehow, I think that sugar-free pudding probably isn't allowed. I found the following info to be helpful: http://livingafterwls.blogspot.com/2008/06/5-day-pouch-test-refresher-course.html http://livingafterwls.blogspot.com/2007/11/hunger-is-not-emergency.html Here's to day 2!

Connie..Ive been eating roughly 4 SF pudding a day! Some SF jello which I used to not care for but now Im actually enjoying it abit. Ive also had my good food aswell but jello & pudding took my cravings for junk away, they helped alot. What mainly worked inkeeping my hunger away was my double protein ice shakes...I wasnt big on those either but now...they are pretty darn good and hit the spot when I get hungry...which now isnt often at all now. Hang in there your doing GREAT!
