Day ONE.....

DADADADAAAAAAAAAAAAA....big day is here....got my protein drink in hand....only 10 am so far so good....by 1pm thats when the craves should kick in. I think Im going to go out...so I wont be tempted. Everyone says day 1 and 2 are the hardest after that its like a walk in the park...we shall see. Stay strong you all, lock the fridge, kick the cat and breath deeply...we will make it!!!! It's only 7:45 on the West Coast. Done O.K this a.m. so far had my coffee this a.m., but, added protein to it.(what I read was not to give up the coffee cold turkey) That is a good thing cause that is my addiction. Had a protein shake & water. Not hungry yet, so doing O.k so far. I am going to get some soup for later, just to be on the safe side,&^ Sugar free jello. Ladybug Marilyn

Ok... I'll join you on this. I actually did this (but my own version which was almost just like their version minus a couple of things) anyways... i lost 8 pounds when i did it. SOOO I am right on time catching this today. I haven't eaten yet. I know I know.... bad but I was going to do this anyway so good timing. I have my protein drink at home.... one and two are hard actually the first 3 days is hard because we are going to crave the sugar but after that day 3 it usually gets better. I'm hungry now, but i'm not going to eat until i get off work. no big since day one is only liquidys anyways. I'll just have my tea until i get to my protein drink. Elizabeth M

it is 1:50 and I am doing fine! protein drink done and water about 20 oz in! getting ready to go to the pool... that will be a problem but...I will survive ! LOL nic

well no pool ... no ride...@@ and when Isi went out to check the mail we saw that my dad had been by the house...(if only he had knocked...ugh) anyway...he brought over fresh from teh garden vegetables... lots of zucchini, a tomato, and 2 little cucumbers... oh my gosh they smelled so good... I CAVED and ate one of those little cucumbers...I felt bad for a second I have to tell you it was SOOOOOO YUMMY! man I fell off the wagon after uhm...6 hours...ugh! ok...back on forgive me?? lol nic

WOOHOOO...you are not going to believe this.....I left my house at approx. 12pm...so I wouldnt be tempted...I was going to TJ MAX just to look around,welllll I missed the turn so I kept going I knew I had a free 20 dollars at the local casino in Delaware..anyway long story short.....I hit it....on my 20 investment I came home with $3,370 WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO.IM thrilled already put it in the bank too so I wouldnt spend it. Ive also kept on my game plan as for the food...nothing but jello and protein drinks. Im going to have some soup soon. Actually not feeling to bad, but then again now Im home ewww Guess Ill stay away from the kitchen except for the soup. Will update later...glad everyone is doing good! Kimberly

I'm a failure on day one!!!!! No I'm not really a failure but I didn't do the liquid thing. That I caved in at breakfast. I thought I'd try skipping day one and two and go directly to three. opps thats rewritting the whole diet now isn't it? OK! so i'll try this again tuesday. What i did do that was positive was not have any pretzels! And I did drink more water! I also bought alittle notebook and wrote everythign I ate down. AND (now this is a good one) I DIDN'T eat ANY cookies!!!!! i STOPPED at Ocean State Job lot an they had my favorites chocolate animal crackers! O i wanted those Soooooo bad but I didn't get them! I walked right past! That area is the only place were I can use the ladies room. Thats why I stopped at ocean state job lot. so today was't a total failure I stayed away from pretzels and cookies and added the water. I pleased with my little success so far.

Ahhhh 7 pm so far so good....Ive only had, actually its alot, Two protein shakes 46 grams of protein each I added almond extract, lots of crushed ice, two scoops of protein powder and water...let me tell you its Goooood just like a toasted almond goodhumor bar. Also Ive had a can of cream of chicken and herb soup,pretty filling, and two lime sugar free jellos and ALot of water....my latenight rave will be sugarfree bannanna'choc pudding....but I tell you I sure could go for a pretzel or popcorn LOL...But I refuse to cheat...gotta make it...need to shed or want to shed 15 lbs by Aug 18th vacation time. Hang in there everyone one slip up is not the end of the world, just get back on track, you can do it! Kimberly

WOW!!!! quick buy me a lottery ticket! LOL so glad you won some $$$ I got a bill from the insurance company whanna float me a loan???? day one is over going to bed now and feel pretty good... already thinking about tuna, flax and a little parm...yummo... tomorrow is a work shop all stinking day... so that will be a bit tricky...I may have to take my magic bullet blender and use it there LOL nic

My day one was O.K for a few hours then it went down hill from there. Did eat mostly protein & a few veggies with dinner. Pammy I will have to start over as well. I got a better job today & looks like I won't be going back to Vons after all. If I can stay away from the bad carbs I will be O.K. When I eat just protein I eat a lot less. Ladybug Marilyn
