7 pounds
i'm feeling pretty darn good.
in the past couple of months i've lost 7 pounds.
whew.
how? geesh I dont know! No it was with watching my calories to the point where I think I was very anal. drinking tons of water. I NEED to get excersizing NEED to.
During this time I even had a cookie now and then!
I know my pouch works. I can not eat the amounts that I use to many years ago but I still can eat more than I could before. So I'be gone back to drinking 8 oz before I eat and I'm drinking water before I go to bed and when i get up first thing in the morning. I eating more vegetables than before. My protein is about what it was before.
I would love to get to my loweast 157 after surgery but right now I'm so thrilled with the 7 gone.
I do have a goal which isn't the lowest amount after surgery Its actually not a weight amount at all. Its a clothing size! I have 3 outfits that I have hanging on my closet door. They are ones that I've not been able to wear since I put on about 10 pounts extra. I've not tried them on yet. But those 3 outfits are my goal. I might hve to lose more than just 10 pounds to get into them cause i"m not excersizing like I did before.
Thats my next goal! getting my butt in gear and excersizing!!!
thanks for listening.
I think that's great news! I think I need to change things up a bit. I am retaining a ton of water...my ankles look terrible. My bowels are also terrible...I think between the both I'd lose the weight!!! I had Grape Nuts this morning, and going to have a protein bar around 10 or so. And, like you, I only want to lose 10 pounds or so. It is SO HARD to do!
I have to admit I am still bad with drinking water. I do drink coffee, black with splenda. I have some in the morning, and sometimes a cup in the afternoon. I have grilled chicken and salad for lunch. I have to do more veggies, I know.
Good luck with your weight loss plan! Sounds like you're doing it right.
